When it comes to spicy flavors, we looked to the popular Creole flavors of Louisiana when we decided to create our spicy Cajun Style Bacon. By hand-rubbing our hickory smoked bacon in a cajun-style blend of peppers, onion, garlic, and parsley, the result is a bacon that is just as unique and vibrant as the New Orleans locals out on Bourbon Street. Our Cajun Style Bacon is excellent for adding a kick to your favorite comfort foods like the BLT, mashed potatoes, corn bread, and even gumbos.
What makes our bacon so special? We love to brag about our bacon, so we're glad you asked! Although not all our selections are prepared the same way, our noteworthy selections are hand-rubbed and use a curing process that dates back to the time of the mighty Romans. That's right, our bacon is as awesome as a Roman Soldier. Our process extracts the water to ensure that each package is purely bacon, unlike grocery store bacon that is injected with water to “pork up” the weight. The advantage of this style of curing is that you can store your bacon at outside of refrigeration for up to 90 days!
